UNCORRUPTING A VALDOCS 2 INDEXER OVERLAY The easiest way to correct the message, "The Indexer overlay file is corrupted. Please restore it from your master disk." is to do what it says. For the QX-10 make new working copies from 3 Valdocs 2 masters, the Load-time, Run-time and Utility diskettes. For the QX-16 make new working copies from only 2 masters, the System and Utility diskettes. However, if making new working copies does not work, you must then make sure that you have the same copy of INDX.OVL on all of your diskettes. ASSUMPTIONS: We assume that you already know how to copy a diskette by using COPY DISK. Go to COPY DISK 1. If you are not already in COPY DISK, press UNDO and then press COPY DISK. 2. Place the Load-time diskette in the left drive, if it is not already there, and press RETURN to continue. B. Place the System diskette in the left drive, if it is not already there, and press RETURN to continue. 5. Select ingle file copy. 6.
